What Are The Visa Options For Pakistan?

The process of applying for a Pakistan visa is quick and easy. To submit your application, you must first sign in to your account on the visa application portal. Next, you will need to enter your details. This includes your full name, gender, date of birth, and passport number. You must also include information about any family members traveling with you. If you are moving to Pakistan, you can get four types of Pakistan visas for your trip.

Business visa:

Before applying for a business visa to Pakistan, you must meet several requirements. First, you must provide a letter of invitation from your business counterpart. This letter should be on your company’s letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Pakistan. In this letter, you must outline the business activities you intend to conduct in Pakistan. The letter should also include the name and passport number of the company or organization you plan to visit in Pakistan.

Tourist visa:

Tourist visa requirements for Pakistan vary based on the country of origin and the purpose of the visit. If you are visiting the country for trekking or mountaineering, you may be required to have a trekking visa. You may apply for a missionary visa if you are a Christian missionary. This visa allows you to stay in the country for up to one month. You should apply for this visa at least two months before your planned travel date.

NGO/INGO visa:

If you are an NGO/INGO seeking a visa to enter Pakistan, you must register with the Ministry of Interior before you arrive in the country. Registration is mandatory and is subject to monitoring by an INGO committee within the ministry. Without registration, it is illegal for INGOs to raise funds in Pakistan or provide assistance to local NGOs. Moreover, you must submit a detailed Annual plan of action (APA), which includes the details of projects, budget allocations, and sources of international funding.

Work visa:

To obtain a work visa for Pakistan, employees must complete the application forms in full, including photocopies of their most recent passport or CNIC. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. Applicants may also need to attend an interview. Work visa applications are processed by the Board of Investment (BOI). The chairman of the BOI approves or disapproves of work visas. He then recommends the Ministry of Interior (MI), which has final authority over visas.
